First of all I give this book *****stars because it followed the movie or I shouldd say the movie followed the book. I was amazed at how everything that was in the book was in the movie even the description. I saw the movie first so I knew what was going to happen but I still loved this book. If you have seen the movie then you know what it is about but if you haven't you will just have to read it for yourself.

ReplyDeleteSo glad to know they didn't change the story for the film. I've read every one of Lehane's books as they've come out and loved them all. This is a favourite. My son (37)also reads all of his books. I hope people discover his other novels now too.

@ Sandra This is my first Lehanne book but it is definitley not going to be my last. I was actually very surprised to see how closely they followed the book because let's face it that doesn't happen very often. Your welcome I love you site.
ReplyDelete@Aths you have got to read this book and then seee the movie. I did it backwards so while I already knew what was going to happen I had no idea how the writing style was.
