Mystic River

I just finished this book and I would give it 4 ****. I don't want to give to much away but it is a very good book and I can't wait to watch the movie now and see how it follows the book. I am going to have to read more by Dennis Lehane because he is the one who wrote Shutter Island and so foar I love both of these books. This book is about Three childhood friends, Dave Boyle, Sean Devine, and Jimmy Marcus who were friends but then one day a car pulls up and ends up taking one of the boys and left the other two and something terrible happened something that ended their friendship and changed all three boys forever. Now years later murder has tied their lives together again.... This was taken from the back of the book. It really didn't pick up until towards the end and it was an okay ending but not what I was expecting. This book is a definitley read but beware if you do read it there's a lot of bad language in it but overall i liked it.

Kiss Review

I finished the book Kiss by Ted Dekker and Erin Healey late last night so that is why I am doing the review now. This book was actually pretty good but not as good as some others I have read from mr. Dekker. It is about a woman, shauna who is charged for the near death of her beloved brother and the worst part is that she can't remember anything that happened that night and what makes matters worse is that her and her father who is running for the preisdency isn't on very good ground and it follows her trying to get her life back but in the wake of it she finds this whole political money scandal and it just goes deeper and deeper and when she meets people she can steal their memories by either touching them or kissing them. It would make a good movie and I thought it was pretty good so I am going to give it ****stars.
